About this board

The thickest birch we list, built from seventeen birch plies into a slab that weighs about 50kg a sheet. It is used where stiffness matters more than weight: workbench tops, machine bases, heavy shelving on wide spans and structural brackets cut on a CNC router.

We bring it in to order from Koskisen, normally within three to five working days. Faces are BB with patches, the core is solid birch with no voids, and the exterior glue line copes with damp workshops. Plan for two people when handling, and break down full sheets with a track saw.
