Veneer sheets are spliced to 2500 x 1250 in 0.6mm leaves, ready to press onto MDF or plywood in a vacuum bag or hot press. Edging comes as pre-glued iron-on tape for hand finishing, or as unglued ABS in long rolls for edgebanding machines, with colours matched to our boards.

How to choose veneers.
Real wood veneer leaves, crown cut for a cathedral figure, for pressing onto MDF or plywood. Oak and walnut are the mainstays, while ash and maple give paler, livelier faces. Iron-on edging is pre-glued and fixes with a household iron; unglued ABS edging is for edge banding machines.
Store veneers flat and out of sunlight until you use them, and order a little extra so the figure matches across a job.
