About this board

Our main stock birch board: 18mm, thirteen plies, sanded to BB/BB with an exterior phenolic bond. It is heavy at over 36kg a sheet, but that density is exactly why it makes rigid carcasses, long shelves that resist sag, and tough worktops for workshops and kitchens.

Joiners choose it for stair treads, CNC-cut furniture, router tables and anywhere a screw has to bite into an edge. The patched faces paint or laminate cleanly. If the faces will be clear finished, ask us to pick sheets, since BB/BB grade allows patching on both sides.
