About this board
At 5.5mm this eucalyptus over poplar sheet is stiff enough to line walls and van sides yet light to carry, around 8.5kg a board. Three plies are bonded with an exterior glue, and the eucalyptus face is sanded smooth for painting, varnishing or applying vinyl.
Trades buy it for hoarding liners, display backs, temporary floor covering and cabinet backs. It pins and staples without splitting. The poplar core is soft, so screws should pass through it into framing rather than into the sheet edge, and outdoors the board needs paint and sealed edges.
