About this board

Fifteen plies of Finnish birch bonded with a weatherproof phenolic glue and sanded to 21mm. This thickness is the trade standard for vehicle floors and heavy-duty benching, and it gives a useful step up in stiffness from 18mm without the weight of a 25mm board.

Expect a dense, flat sheet that machines well and takes heavy fixings into its edge. Both faces are BB grade with tidy patches, fine for painting, laminating or covering with a floor finish. Buy 18 or more and the unit price drops, which helps on van fleets and shopfit runs.
