About this board
Made in China to EN 636-3, this 9mm sheet pairs a eucalyptus face with a poplar core and a Class 3 exterior bond. It is about a quarter lighter than birch of the same size, which makes it easy to handle on site and quick to cut by hand.
Good for hoarding, pelmets, shuttering returns, light shelving and the backs of fitted furniture. The face is B grade with only small knots, the back BB with patches. Expect some movement and the odd soft spot in the core, which is normal for poplar plywood at this price.
