About this board
With a fine fibre surface and a consistent density profile, this 9mm Finsa board machines almost as cleanly through the core as on the face. It sits between the flexible thin sheets and full furniture board, a sensible choice for panels and linings that need some stiffness.
Typical jobs include bath panels, pelmets, radiator cabinets, signboards and cupboard backs that carry fixings. It glues and pins well. For bathrooms or anywhere steamy, choose the green moisture resistant version instead, because standard MDF swells and loses strength once water gets in.
