About this board
Thick 22mm MDF for heavy-duty shelving, worktop substrates, stair risers and bench tops where an 18mm board would sag or flex. Finsa makes it with the same smooth surface and dense core as the thinner sheets, so edges can be profiled and painted cleanly.
Currently on offer at a reduced price. At close to 50kg a sheet, it is worth breaking down with a track saw on trestles. Fix into the face where possible, since the edge of thick MDF can split if screws are driven too close to the end.
