About this board
Painted shelving, cabinet sides on smaller units and machined decorative panels are the usual jobs for this 12mm premium MDF. The surface is tight and sanded, and the core is dense enough to hold a routed profile or V-groove without fluffing.
Seal cut edges with diluted PVA or an MDF edge primer before painting, otherwise they soak up the first coat. Screws need pilot holes and should be kept 25mm from edges to avoid splitting. Like all standard MDF, it is not for exterior or wet areas.
