About this board
Fire retardant MDF from Medite with a red-dyed core, rated Euroclass B-s2, d0 so it meets lining requirements for escape corridors, schools, hospitals and commercial interiors. The treatment runs right through the board, so cut edges and machined profiles keep their classification.
It works like ordinary MDF, routing and painting cleanly, but the treated fibre wears saw blades faster, so carbide tooling is a must. Store it flat and dry, as FR board can mark if it gets damp. We order it in for you within three to five working days.
