About this board
Poplar plywood from Garnica in Spain, impregnated with a fire retardant during manufacture to reach Euroclass B-s1, d0 through its full thickness rather than relying on a surface coating. Cut edges and machined faces therefore keep their rating, which a painted intumescent finish cannot promise.
Specified for wall linings in escape routes, schools, hotels and shopfits where building control asks for Euroclass B. It machines like ordinary poplar ply but blunts tools a little faster. Keep it dry, since it is a humid interior board, and order three to five days ahead.
