About this board
Gyproc acoustic plasterboard, 15mm thick with a high density core that cuts airborne noise through walls and ceilings. Fit it between bedrooms, in flats and around home cinemas, where standard board lets too much sound through.
Results depend on the whole wall, so pair it with mineral wool in the cavity and seal every gap with acoustic sealant. Boards weigh nearly 37kg, so plan for two people. It also carries a fire rating in tested systems. Currently reduced while stock lasts.
