About this board
Siniat moisture resistant plasterboard has a water-repellent core and treated face paper, so it holds up in bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms where standard board would soften. It is 12.5mm thick with tapered edges and handles just like standard board.
Use it behind tiles away from direct water, or as a base for skim in steamy rooms. It is not a tile backer for showers or wet rooms; use cement board there. Fix at 300mm centres with drywall screws, and prime before tiling.
