About this board

Kronospan fuses a smooth white melamine surface onto both faces of a P2 chipboard core to make this 18mm MFC, sold in the trade-friendly 2440 x 1220 size. The result is a finished, wipe-clean carcass board with no painting required.

Kitchen fitters use it for carcasses, and it suits garage storage, wardrobe interiors and shelving too. Cut with a scoring blade to stop chips on the underside, and band edges with white iron-on or ABS tape. Shelves longer than 800mm need a centre support or a thicker board.
