About this board

Rated Euroclass B-s2, d0, this fire retardant chipboard is used where building regulations call for limited combustibility linings in corridors, stairwells and public buildings. The retardant is mixed into the particles during manufacture, so the rating holds through the full thickness and on cut edges.

Machining is the same as for standard 18mm chipboard, though it is harder on tooling. Storage matters: FR chemicals can draw moisture and mark the surface if stored in damp conditions. The board can be laminated or painted with compatible finishes; ask for the test report when you order.
