About this board
Spliced into 2500 x 1250 sheets at 0.6mm, this crown cut ash veneer is pale, almost white, with a bold open grain similar to oak but lighter in tone. It takes stains, ebonising and white oils well.
Furniture makers use it for Scandinavian-style pieces, kitchen doors and wall panels. Seal before staining to stop blotching. Supplied to order within three to five working days. Store flat in a cool room, as veneer can crack if left somewhere warm and dry.
