About this board
Softwood particles bonded with Portland cement are pressed into this dense, grey 12mm sheet. It resists rot, frost, insects and fire, reaching Euroclass B-s1, d0, and is often used where plywood would fail in damp conditions.
Uses include wet room floors, external soffits, sheathing, acoustic floors and fire linings. Pre-drill near edges and use stainless or coated screws. At almost 45kg a sheet, it needs two people, and a diamond or carbide blade with extraction for cutting.
