About this board
Magply magnesium oxide board, 9mm thick and rated A1 non-combustible. Magnesia cement reinforced with glass fibre mesh gives a dense, rigid sheet that does not rot, swell or support mould, used as a lining and sheathing board where timber-based panels are not allowed.
Typical uses include external wall sheathing under render, soffits, internal linings in escape routes and backing for tiles. Score and snap or cut with a fibre cement blade and dust extraction. Fix with stainless or coated screws, as the board can corrode plain steel in damp conditions.
