About this board
Heavy 22mm OSB3 for floors over joists at 600mm centres, storage platforms and roof decks carrying plant or foot traffic. The thickness gives real stiffness and a firm feel underfoot, with oriented strands laid in three layers for strength in both directions.
Each sheet is about 40kg, so handle with two people. Glue and screw to joists for the stiffest result. Edges are square, so every joint must land on a joist or noggin; if that is awkward, the tongue and groove version saves fitting extra noggins.
