About this board
Sized at 2397 x 1197, slightly under 2400 x 1200, this 9mm OSB3 sits within frames set out at 600mm centres without trimming. It is the standard sheathing board for timber frame walls, garden buildings and hoarding, rated for load-bearing use in humid conditions.
Fix with ring shank nails or screws at 150mm centres on edges and 300mm in the field, leaving a 3mm gap between sheets for movement. The surface is rough and absorbent, so prime before painting. OSB3 is not a cladding board and needs weather protection.
