About this board
Halspan FD30 fire door blank, 44mm thick, 2135 x 915, with a solid particleboard core and MDF facings sanded ready for veneer, laminate or paint. Joiners lip, size and machine these blanks to make bespoke 30 minute fire doors for houses, flats and commercial buildings.
The blank keeps its rating only when built to the manufacturer data sheet: approved lipping species and size, hardware, intumescent seals and glazing. Keep the paperwork with the job. Twenty or more blanks bring the unit price down, and stock is held for quick dispatch.
